The year began with men's fashion weeks autumn/winter 2016 including London Collections: Men. The late great David Bowie had just passed away and was a key influence on Moschino.

January then saw the parade of luxury wares that is Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week SS16. The perfect fashion inspiration combination.

In February we were making the most of winter wardrobes by repairing knitwear and woollen clothing. We were also looking forward to the coming season with the top SS16 fashion trends.

Then the AW16 fashion weeks began and we were treated to a bevy of beautiful garments. This hand-embroidered dress and bomber jacket from Roberta Einer was a favourite of our followers.

March saw our review of the fashion weeks AW16 and the beginning of the wedding season. We joined Ian Stuart bridal workshop on: how to choose a wedding dress?

Spring was in the air with this Vanity Fair photoshoot by Patrick Demarchelier and starring Natalia Vodianova. Voluminous shoulders and cinched in waists were certainly on the menu for the coming months.

April sees Bridal Fashion Week in New York and this stunning Mira Zwillinger caped wedding dress was a big hit. It's the ideal way to get bridal inspo for the coming year.

Meanwhile, we were taking in dresses, working with designer men's suits and Chanel tweed.

Every May, the annual benefit for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute takes place in New York. The Met Ball 2016 theme was Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.

The futuristic fashion saw an array of metallic dresses take to the red carpet. These included this Balmain dress worn by British model, Jourdan Dunn.

The summer season was kicked off with resort wear in cruise collections and pre-fall shows. Chanel made history by holding theirs in Cuba after the boarder was opened.

It also saw the menswear fashion weeks SS17 in London, Milan and Paris. All of which have been going from strength to strength.

Feminine decadence took the fore in July for Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. The unbridled creativity and craftsmanship was the epitome of goals.

At the same time, we were working with pink Dior clothing and the all-white dresses fashion trend.

In August we were preparing for the coming season with the top AW16 fashion trends. Not to mention, the tailoring in our studio.

Plus, the wedding season wasn't over yet and our rails were bursting with bridal gown alterations. They included this number from The Lovers Bride.

Every September sees the beginning of the spring/summer fashion weeks. We were enraptured by the array of street style.

We also contributed by completing petite tailoring for fashion blogger, Whitney's Wonderland. Then our work on winter wedding dresses began with couture bridal dresses galore.

We began October with our review of the fashion weeks SS17 and the imminent changes. Burberry launched their 'see now, buy now' range of men's and women's clothes.

We were also busy working on the two biggest trends of the year, beaded and velvet clothing.

In November we had a fitting with Evan Yi Feng for the launch of Stella McCartney menswear. Get the scoop and the history of tailoring.

The colder weather also saw us working with Miu Miu tweed bouclé clothing.

As always, we ended our year by looking back at the wonderful tailoring work that came our way. This involved wonderful red carpet fashion, evening gowns and holiday couture alterations.
