As the weather turns, our studio fills with winter coat alterations and tailoring. See the difference our services make.
Winter Coat Alterations and Tailoring
The winter coat is a must-have season staple that will be on show as you make your way through the blustery weather. That's why coat alterations are taking our studio by storm.
Winter fashion trends see cosy fabrics, elegant cuts and some surprising patterns. See the difference a nip and tuck can make to your winter wardrobe this year.
Miu Miu Coat
This statement Miu Miu coat came into our studio to have the hem and sleeves shortened. We maintain the finish as original so our work is invisible.
Brunello Cucinelli Coat
We shortened the sleeves from the cuff on this Brunello Cucinelli coat. Then we took in the centre back. Now it's the perfect fit for our client.
The first Dior winter coat to make our list is this darling pink and black wool number. We narrowed the shoulders, shortened the sleeves and took in the side seams.
Now the feminine cut can flatter the figure whilst the pattern remains perfectly intact.
The second Dior coat is in fur and sees leather alterations. We will take off and reapply the pockets on another Dior fur coat.
This coat alteration allows for a more custom and unique design that fits our client's taste. Yet, the finish will remain on-brand.
Miu Miu Coat
Another day, another Miu Miu coat and this one certainly brightened up our studio. Who said winter fashion trends don't include bright colours?
We're taking in the side seams on this wool bouclé coat and then it will be ready to be worn in style.
Dennis Basso Coats
These two children's chinchilla coats from Dennis Basso Kids are in our studio to have hooks added. A handy coat alteration that can go a long way.
Matthew Williamson Coat
We're loving the amazing bead work on this Matthew Williamson coat. We let out the coat from arm holes and side seams. Now our client can brave the winter weather.
This before snap shows this structured Dior coat with burgundy top stitching we're downsizing. A little sculpting can go a long way for our client.
